WHERE & WHEN WOULD I ROW?

In the summer months (starting the week after the clocks change up to September) we row on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm and Saturday and Sunday mornings (not too early!) from our club house West of Bournemouth pier.

In the winter we row weekend mornings on the river Stour in Christchurch. We also use the river for brand new beginners and flat water training if the sea is too rough.
In the winter months we also have circuit training at the club from 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings.


WHERE & WHEN WOULD I RACE?

We race from March to September and you can compete in as many as you and your crew likes. We mainly race locally but sometimes travel as far West as Dartmouth and East to Brighton.

Twice a year we spend a weekend on the Isle of Wight and once in Swanage. You will need to contribute towards the transport of the boats and pay your regatta entry fees.

As you win races you will progress through the following statuses: Beginner, Novice, Junior, Junior-Senior (men only) and then Senior. For the older members who were Seniors in their youth they can race as Veterans.
