Founded in 1865, we're the oldest club in Bournemouth! Our club house is between The Westbeach restaurant and the Oceanarium by Bournemouth.
We're a young and friendly club! We take absolute beginners (next intake from 1st October 2008) or experienced rowers, coaches and coxes (spaces always available for those able to train members).
From May to September we row in the evenings at our Club House from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and race on Saturdays in Coastal Regattas from Swanage to Worthing. From October to April we conduct land based training in the evenings at our Club House from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and row on Saturday and / or Sunday mornings at our base in Christchurch, with times to suit the crews. We also compete in some river races around the country.

| This is the first in a two day Isle of Wight racing weekend. We normally leave WBRC at 5.30am (yes 5.30am!) in Nick's Double Decker Bus, catch the ferry over to the IoW and then commence racing at 10am.
Following the first day of races there is a party at Ryde... |
